Poštová banka, a.s. is an Slovak retail bank, which offers its products and services in Slovak republic within the chain of 39 branches and more than 1600 service points with its strategic partner Slovenská pošta, a.s. (The Slovak Post).

Since March 2010 the Poštová banka, a.s. offers their services and products in Czech republic as well, trought its branch in Prague. In august 2005,Poštová banka acquaired remaining 33 % share on the capital stock of Prvá penzijná Asset Management and became its sole owner. In May 2008, Poštová banka acquaried 100% shares of insurance company Poisťovňa Tatra, a.s. which business name was subsequently changed to the Poisťovňa Poštovej banky, a.s. In May 2011 was completed the transction, by which the Poštová banka, a.s. became the owner of the 100% shares of pension fund management company ČSOB, d.s.s., a.s. which became the member of the group of Poštová banka. In this regard, the business name of company ČSOB, d.s.s., a.s. was changed to the Dôchodková správcovská spoločnosť Poštovej banky, d.s.s., a.s.
